For decades, technology has been used as a tool to get things done and not necessarily seen as an enabler for driving business value. But it in today’s digital economy, the intersection between People, Process and Technology has never been more important; and it is through the effective use of technology that I believe individuals and businesses can realise their true potential and create real business value. When we talk about transformation, what we are really talking about is driving change to deliver specific business outcomes. This type of change requires the right tools that support the right people, in the right place at the right time; supported by a robust governance model to realise the value that we are trying to create. This presentation explores some of the drivers and lessons learned around digital transformation and explores the future of technology.
