Presentation: Stakeholder Engagement in an Agile world
This session looks at the impact of Agile approaches on how stakeholder engagement is conducted. It provides guidance to the PMO on the practices it should promote and the pitfalls it needs to highlight and help projects avoid.
- Promoting proximal governance – bringing governance close to the project
- Role and agenda-based stakeholders – the importance of engaging with both these groups appropriately
- Splitting stakeholder responsibilities between the Product owner and Delivery manager – pitfalls to avoid
- What the PMO should, could and must not do in promoting improved stakeholder practices in projects and programmes.
