About Speaker:

Nicky Daniel is responsible for the global PMO office at the Education Development Trust. Education Development Trust is a registered charity that works collaboratively with national and local governments, schools and other partners from around the world to design and deliver sustainable solutions to improve education and transform lives. Education Development Trust’s work is evidence-informed and the organisation invests annually in their programme of educational research.

Nicky joined the organisation as a Project Manager working in the UK contracts team on a project to roll out a new post-16 Mathematics qualification on behalf of the DfE. This was followed by a move to the international team where Nicky worked as a Performance and Risk Manager and was responsible for a portfolio of the Department for International Development (DFID) UK Aid funded programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia. Nicky is now responsible for the global PMO office for Education Development Trust which defines and maintains the global standards for delivering excellence in the portfolio of programmes and projects and provides training and mentoring and project support to the project and programme teams at each stage of the project life-cycle.

Nicky is an experienced Project and Programme Manager and is qualified in Prince 2, MSP and is an APM accredited PMO Practitioner. Nicky has delivered projects and services in the charitable and public sector and has managed a range of children and family services in the public and charitable sectors.
